VET/HAM/ALO have never been on same podium? That's mental.

I think actually he was just a bit desperate and trying it on. Cars touch with no penalty - no such thing as "too close", especially when you're both in the middle of the track.

Jesus, that McLaren mechanic was TERRIFYING. Looked like a zombie Ray Liotta.

How is Sky F1 still so shit after 19 races?
  • Deleted user 18 November 2012 20:47:13
Great race. Wecolme back to F1 america. Some great racing all down the field. Maldonado/senna and button/kimi passes were amazing.

    Well done hammy.

As for the circuit, first time i seen it, missed all the practice sessions, and QF. Whilst its steals so many corners (maggots, turkey, and that bahrain esq turn back, that first corner and run down is awesome. Look forward to seeing more races here in the future.

    YYYYEEEEEHAH HATS. awesome.

Really enjoyed that race. Chuffed for Hamilton to get a well overdue win with all his shitty luck lately.

Alonso did the best he could, again, and keeps the WDC alive for another race. Should be good.

RBR also done well getting third in a row. Crazy.

Well done COTA. Great race all round, really enjoyed it as well. Gripping from lights to flag, nice touch with the Stetsons as well.

Yeah was a great race. The drivers as well all seem to have decided to grow big ones over the last few races. It's great to see

It's one of the only sports where a massive nerd gets huge praise from the sporting media.

And I say that with nothing but affection.

Well that was a bit good wasn't it?

A decent selection of wheel banging, a tense chase and pass for the lead and pretty much every thing else in between. Good stuff.

    Also, the hats were brilliant.

Speaking of wheel to wheel, can't beat Kimi's fair wheel to wheel judgement and not only in this race.

Has anyone ever completed every lap of a season before? If not Kimi could do it.

I'm also very interested in how Austin was received across the wider US. Seemed to be a stonking success, with stands full to the rafters.

Can't be any worse than in Spain, "Fernando...Torres?"

Fair enough to moan about the HRT, but they could have bolted on some medium tyres in q1 and knocked them out of the race via the 107% rule. Would have been tight.

Judging by the New York Times, it basically didn't happen.

    Austin loving it though

Sort of but then blaming Vettel on losing the race over 56 laps because ONE backmarker didnt get out of his way as fast as golden boy expected him to is a bit rich. Hamilton was on Vettel the entire race, it was a matter of time, backmarker or not.

Thats what really gets on my tits about RBR and Vettel. Always blame someone or something else. Just man up and say "Yeah, Hamilton surprised us with his pace and had a bloody good race".
