So is greenman gaming the cheapest place to get XCOM: EW? Didn't get around to completing EU simply because got bored with the maps.

But at 13.50 I think it might be worth going back to for new toys.

Known as 'Sharzam' in 98.5% of games

Very limited numbers of games going for free on GOG every so often in the insomnia sale

Saw Hotline Miami and one of the Wing Commanders, but didn't nab one in time

Cool idea for a sale, it's going through deals pretty quickly

The new Humble Store deals are up. Expensive stuff, this time around. The latest Batman is up there at full price, but Monaco is cheap: their karma must even out somewhat.

Omerta City of Gangsters has slowed the GOG sale up exponentially.

Actually, I think it's a terrible way to do a sale.

After 10 minutes I'm out. I value my time more than I do the potential of saving $2 on a game I really don't need or want that much otherwise I'd be happy to pay full price for it anyway.

Theme Hospital flashed up at 100% off and sold out in less than 1 second. Literally, less than 1 second.

It's actually too stressful for me to want to buy anything, just more interesting seeing how fast stuff sells out.

Seriously GOG should be slapped. So people with faster internet deserve better deals?

    I'm out.

It's an interesting experiment, but kind of poorly thought through. Massively popular titles disappear in literally seconds, whereas stuff like Jack Keane 2 with a discount that still makes it overpriced just sits there for ages, so unless you want to stare at a screen for hours on end and hope to get in a mouseclick faster than the thousands of others doing the same on decent titles you'll basically get nothing.

Bioshock Infinite + Columbia's Finest DLC - 7.50 for Steam keys (using code "9to5Mac").

That sounds cheap to me although I haven't checked how cheap its been. It's on Game Agent and it's being sold for Mac but I'm assured that its fine for PC too as you are getting the Steam keys. You just have to put the game in your basket and the DLC gets added automatically.

This is quite an interesting weekly bundle. Cannot vouch for any of the games as I went for it mainly for the intriguing Expeditions: Conquistador which I fancied when I first saw it a while back but they all look quite fun.

Oh and Getgames have Lego, Bioshock & Kane & LYnch games going cheap

About an hour to go at the Humble Store to get FTL for $3.39. That's about two pounds! There's no excuse to not at least give it a try at that price.

Started it this afternoon. It's good, not finding it mega addictive though. Something I'll probably dip into a bit now and then.

Dunno fella. I liked it, hence my description of it as 'good'.

Same opinion here. I played it solid for a couple of days when it came out but it's never drawn me back in

Sooo good. Origins was great but it never really 'clicked' for me - this one is one of the best platformers EVAH!

Yes, and yes. There's a fairly generous demo, too.

Excellent. I am in the family sharing beta.

Shame I missed out on the full SteamOS hardware beta by not being such an avid forum dweller that I missed the new targets.
