    Dishonored + another Bethesda game = £10 @ http://getloadedgo.com/

Choose two from Dishonored, Oblivion GOTY, Doom 3 BFG, New Vegas Ultimate, Morrowind GOTY, Fallout 3 GOTY, Hunted, Brink, Rage - all register on Steam.

(note - Get Games' site says they're a part of Eurogamer, which is incorrect)
You get a spotters badge for that,Dishonored and Fallout 3 GOTY bagged.
if you have Windows 7, you'll have to do a bit of reading to get Fallout up and working.

When the fuck is the summer sale?
Previous Steam Summer Sale start dates are:

    June 24, 2010
    June 30, 2011
    July 12, 2012

So possibly this Thursday or next (as they usually start on Thursday's).

I think it will be, along with the sequel (here's hoping).

Hoping to pick up a great number of titles for under £50. I did the same last year and I've only managed to play half of them so far. I don't mind so much as there's some lovely gems I never would've bought otherwise and they're always there if I fancy trying something new.

I know they're recent titles but I'd love a good saving on Gunpoint and The Swapper.

    Gentlemen, start your wallets.

"Steam Trading Cards are leaving beta and will roll out to all users from June 26, Valve has confirmed. The news was book-ended by a tease that smells a lot like the Steam Summer Sale"

“Making trading cards available to all Steam users is a step towards an event we think everyone can be excited about…”

If it's your first then your wallet is going to feel like it was fingered by King Kong.

I wonder if they're going to have some event linked to these trading cards?

Everyone unlocks over a million cards, Gabe posts a video of him saying the number 3.

2 million, the words 'Half Life 3' on black background.

3 million, a blurry screenshot of Gordon's beard.

100 million, a picture of Alyx with her tits out.

Cheers, yeah, noticed that when I booted it up for the first time!

Nothing too taxing, mucking about with .ini files, took me back to my DOS days :)

...although it could work in much the same way as the Steam 'coal hunt' - where it'll 'force' you to dip into games that might otherwise have remained untouched in your library.

It's a sort of good kind of hurt.

Until months/years later when you look at your games list and think "I've not played ANY of these!"

    Then it's a bad hurt.

that's what always gets me. They are not always there. Every time i think "oh actually maybe a quick game of xxx would be nice" i realise i have to wait two hours for the game to download and the mood passes
