Anyone who wants a copy of the real version of DmC can get it from SimplyGames for the rather inexpensive sum of £12.99, it's a Steam code.
I bought a key for Prototype 2 from them (still not played it because I'm an idiot) and that was pretty painless.

Prototype 2 is 60% off (£7.99) on Steam today...worth it?

Since upgrading W7 to W9, the Steam UI looks ridiculously low res, even though I am set to 1080p... has anyone encountered this?
And, even though I am at 1080p, my screen res settings states "You are displaying below 1600x1200" for some reason...

If you mean upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 8, i see no change personally. Steam acts and looks perfectly normal. Sounds to me like graphics drivers and/or settings are buggered after you upgraded.
