    Straight from the jar. Yum.

Might get some cheese to go with it in a bit.

Mmm... I could go for some of that right now. But knowing me I'd eat half the jar and make myself sick.

I ate a full jar one night. Next day was shocking.

They're so good though I'd go as far to say it was worth it.

I'd love to like pickled onions. The smell, the taste are awesome, but I hate biting through all those layers. Goes right through me. :(

I'd forgotten those. They are the worst things ever. How they can be called food I'll never know.

Oh I like gherkins as well. Only thing is it's difficult to find good ones. I mostly eat them when I go to France as my sister buys really nice ones.

I agree that most taste bad though.

I love gherkins. My local chippie has very good ones, always get one while I'm waiting. Funny thing is though I hate them hot. Always take them out of the burger!

    A tasty green pickle.

Reminds me of that joke about the two morgue workers.

Freakish things my wife does no. 254:

She gets really doughy, cheap bread, removes the crusts, squashes it and then moulds dough balls around the pickled onions.

Any sort of pickled animal turns my stomach a little, it reminds me too much of what they used to do with freakish abortions. It took me years to pluck up the courage to try a pickled egg.

Now, include a square of cheddar, and fry it in a knob of butter... that'd be a plausible canopé.
