I've got steel capped boots. DeWalt ones. My new ones are called apprentice (boo) but my previous ones were apache (much better). They are resistant to oil, petrol and acid. Real man boots. Need them for my manly job. Grrrrr.

And I don't have a hankie or tissues in my pocket. I have a big roll of blue paper towel sling on a chain under my tool cupboard and usei it for cleaning stuff, including my nose. Rawr.

Depends, are you fighting off a pack of rabid dogs or creating a bust of the warden of a Turkish jail?

If it is for some task around the home you get no man points.

Oh. I just need to make a hinge recess to allow me to hang a door I got from Freecycle to replace one of our nasty 1950s glass panel ones.

I'll also be employing a truckstrap to secure said door to the roof of my car.

    CPU thermal paste.

Had to buy some yesterday. PC went a bit potty. Seems the paste had worn away as the cooler wasn't seated correctly.

Thankfully a quick trip to Maplin for some thermal paste worked. The PC came back to life and is now cooler than it has been for ages.

I did buy a power drill a few weeks ago, that was much more manly.

What about keeping those kidney stones?

Polish them and have them set into a ring. The most precious stones of all are the ones produced by the human body.

    (And later pissed out)

I still have the metalwork from my wrist after an operation I had to repair it.
It's shiny, sharp and as thick as coat hanger wire, thus manly.

Actually, I could do with a thread just like that. Started using my gf's...how do I describe it..it's like a fluffy thing in the shower that you put shower gel on and it foams up really quickly, meaning a little bit of shower gel goes a long way.

Don't knock it til you've tried it!

    *minces out of thread*
