Addo's never in the news for a nice reason is it.

Pure WTF though, they've been turning the town upside down trying to find that girl. The police along with half the town searching and leafletting all week, with missing posters on almost every surface.

And the whole time her body was at her grandmothers. Strange I'd thought the house would have been the first place searched, if only for clues for where she was.
They actually searched the place 4 times in total and only used sniffer dogs in the last 2 searches as far as I remember from the news. The guy on the news said the body might possibly have been moved.

It's times like this I hate the internet though; the moronic "BRING BACK THE DEATH PENALTY" stuff makes me sick.

I can't remember why I read someone say that they thought some crime or other was so bad that the perpetrator should be put to death and not even afforded the luxury of a trial. I was completely baffled by the notion that a crime's severity could be so bad as to sentence someone without some assurance of their guilt.

It's the same whenever anyone is found not guilty of a serious crime "got off with it" "justice hasn't been done" etc. It can be quite scary to an extent.

The world is going mad. Me? I'm doing fine.

Well, if someone isn't convicted of serious crime then justice hasn't been done, since if they didn't do it then someone else must have, whatever 'it' is.

That is quite shocking. On the one hand feel sorry for her, the other I'm wondering if she will be the start of the X Men

    Update on Tia murder

Detectives investigating the disappearance of schoolgirl Tia Sharp have arrested two more people - a 46-year-old woman on suspicion of murder and a 39-year-old man on suspicion of assisting an offender, said Scotland Yard.

They should definitely do the lottery at the next chance they get. 100,000 moose and only 150 bears and they hit the bear.

It's a great name for News folks to have to say. They had to say it a number of times on Sky News this morning with straight faces.

Eh, I've gotten off using an ID card with Johnny Bravo's picture on it before. Didn't realise it was newsworthy!

Indeed. Seems odd though that two days after he lost the case he dies anyway.

Indeed. I hope his family will be given a bit of peace too, from the inevitable shit-storm that will head their way.

The timing does sound suss, but it's not being investigated or thought to be suspicious. So hopefully it is just a coincidence, as you say, the family will have to be strong.

I think the judge was right. This is one for the government, not the courts.

It's one for whoever is capable of making a reasonable decision and taking some responsibility to allow someone a degree of dignity and control in their life.
