Editor's blog: EG Expo publisher list
Big guns up for Leeds and London.
Things are moving on apace with Eurogamer Expo planning, so we thought we'd keep you in the loop about the delights you can expect to experience while you're there.
As you no doubt know, we're bringing love and excitement to both ends of the country this year, revitalising the previously frosty and barren north when we set up shop in Saviles Hall in Leeds on the 27th and 28th of October.
From there, we'll be moving the whole shebang down to Old Billingsgate, lighting up London with a show of mammoth proportions on 30th and 31st October.
But what can you expect for your measly GBP 6 ticket? Well that, for now, is mostly a secret. We'll be revealing the games which you'll be able to experience on the show floor over the next few months, tantalising you in a way only previously possible through the medium of cages and bacon.
For now, we're extremely pleased to be able to confirm a partial list of publishers who'll be attending the Expo - and we'll leave it to you to ponder which special treats they'll be bringing along with them.
Confirmed attendees so far include:
- Sony
- Microsoft
- EA
- Eidos
- SEGA
- Bethesda Softworks
- Konami
- Capcom
All of which is sure to whet your appetite for the feast of gaming this autumn. We'll be keeping you up to date on details as and when we confirm them, but if you want to catch up on all the latest Expo information in the meantime, or buy yourself a ticket before they inevitably sell out, head over to our dedicated Expo site and soak up the atmosphere.
As all of you who attended last year will know, the Eurogamer Expo is pretty big potatoes, and this year it's bigger, better and smothered in hot, creamy butter - don't miss out!

Oh and I want a bloomin' goody bag this time. I ain't missing out on stuff like Gears tags again, simply because I didn't know you could just pick the frakin' things up if you found them!

Otherwise, might just book a day off and visit Leeds. Ain't bad for six notes (well, one note and one coin, I guess).

There will be no new Darkfall review. The devs, in the end, said they didn't want one.

I thought that Eurogamer would make an editorial decision not influenced by the developers. You know, trying to be an independent source and all that. Oh well, I guess.
