Yooka-Laylee will have local multiplayer. You can either play with up to four friends in a collection of eight mini-games, or with one other friend in the campaign.
In the campaign, the second player takes control of the Bee Team and collects quills, butterflies and stops traps.
In the mini-games, players go head-to-head. The mini-games named so far are listed below and play as their titles suggest.
- Kartos Karting
- Blag the Flag
- Gun-let Run
- Jobstacle Course
- Hurdle Hijinx
The mini-games are accessible from Rextro's Arcade - Rextro being a T rex who likes retro games, naturally. They'll be available when Yooka-Laylee launches 11th April on PS4, Xbox One, PC and Mac. The Wii U version of Yooka-Laylee was cancelled, remember, but a Switch version is on the cards.
