XCOM: Enemy Within listings spotted on Korean ratings board

UPDATE: Placeholder Steam achievements for Enemy Unknown suggest this is DLC.

UPDATE #2: A list of 30 unmarked placeholder achievements for XCOM: Enemy Unknown has popped up on Steam. (Thanks, Wario 64.)

This suggests that this whole Enemy Within business is DLC for Firaxis critically acclaimed strategy reboot. We'll know more come 21st August when 2K officially spills the beans.

UPDATE: XCOM: Enemy Within - whatever it is - will be revealed later this month during Gamescom 2013, publisher 2K has confirmed to Eurogamer.

"We're looking forward to making an announcement on 21st August!" a spokesperson told us this morning.

A new slice of XCOM: Enemy Unknown DLC would be a welcome announcement - or it could be some form of mobile/tablet spin-off.

ORIGINAL STORY: Mysterious listings for something called XCOM: Enemy Within have appeared on the South Korean ratings board's website. (Thanks, CVG.)

The listings are for PC, Xbox 360, and PS3.

Could this be a new game? DLC for XCOM: Enemy Unknown? A video series, perhaps? If only The Bureau actually existed to investigate this paranormal phenomena. Instead you have to settle for me, who's meekly sent an e-mail to publisher 2K politely requesting more information. And this is why I'm not as cool as Agent Mulder.

The last XCOM game, Enemy Unknown, was a rousing success. EG-contributor Rich Stanton totally dug it, as he explained in his XCOM: Enemy Unknown review. The critical darling was then ported to iOS last month for £13.99.
