Xbox Game Pass Ultimate on console gets EA Play 10th Nov

Just in time for next-gen.

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate gets EA Play on Xbox consoles on 10th November, Microsoft has announced.

That's the same day the Xbox Series X and S launch.

Then, beginning in December, members with an Ultimate or PC subscription can download and play games from the EA Play library on Windows 10 PCs.

Some EA Play games will also be available for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members to play on Android devices via the cloud, Microsoft said.

It's worth noting that it's the basic EA Play subscription that's included with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate - not the more expensive EA Play Pro. You still get access to EA's library of games on the service, and early access trials to upcoming new releases (such as 10 hours of FIFA 21 from 1st October). But you don't get the extra gubbins you get with EA Play Pro.

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate costs £10.99-a-month, although you can get the first month for £1. This also includes Xbox Live Gold.
