Xbox 360 exclusive Gun Loco cancelled

Square Enix pulls the plug.

Square Enix has cancelled Xbox 360 exclusive Gun Loco.

Confirmation comes from a message posted on the Gun Loco website, translated by Andriasang.

Square Enix failed to explain its decision. The game had been due out this year.

Gun Loco was announced at German show Gamescom last year. It was described as a "sprint-action shooter" that spans both single and multiplayer game modes. Gameplay involved running, ducking, jumping and vaulting, all while shooting.

We've contacted Square Enix for comment.

Gun Loco has been cancelled, but was originally scheduled for release on Xbox 360.
