Wii U Virtual Console goes live in Europe tomorrow

And here's the launch line-up.

The Wii U's downloadable Virtual Console service goes live in Europe tomorrow, 27th April, Nintendo has announced.

The initial offering includes Super Mario World, Excitebike, Mario's Super Picross, F-Zero, Ice Climber, Donkey Kong Jr. and Punch-Out!!

NES games cost £3.49, while SNES titles will be £5.49, ONM reported. Game Boy Advance and N64 titles are also on the way.

The launch line-up is almost identical to the North American launch list, although there gamers get Kirby's Adventure instead of Mario's Super Picross.

Happily, all the games are the 60Hz North American versions, rather than the 50Hz original releases that were originally launched in Europe.

Each comes with off-screen GamePad play and its own Miiverse community. If you bought the game originally on Wii it costs 99p to re-download a NES game again and £1.49 for a SNES game.
