Warface open beta now available to all on Xbox 360

If you're a Gold subscriber.

Crytek's free-to-play shooter Warface is now available to try on Xbox 360.

Xbox Live Gold members can now download the Warface open beta from the console dashboard, or via the Xbox Marketplace site, Major Nelson announced.

The game's beta originally launched for PC, and then in limited, closed form for Xbox 360 last month. It includes multiple maps, two co-op game modes and daily missions to complete.

Warface marks Crytek's first foray into the free-to-play market, and includes paid-for "resurrection coins" for an instant battlefield respawn. Other items, such as XP boosters and utility items such as grenades, are available in lucky-dip boxes.
