WAR patch 1.2 goes live next week
It's getting a price cut in Europe, too.
In its latest newsletter to players, Mythic has announced that Patch 1.2 for Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning will go live on 3rd March - that's next Tuesday. The game is also being halved in price in Europe.
The sizeable patch will include the new Dwarf Slayer and Orc Choppa careers; the Bitter Rivals live event; a limited preview of a new Scenario; improvements to realm-versus-realm warfare, itemisation, crafting, and the user interface; more "easy" public quests for smaller group sizes; and over 500 bug fixes.
Patch 1.2 kicks off the Call to Arms "live expansion" that will be released in chunks over the next few months. Monthly live events will be followed by the release of the Land of the Dead zone in June.
Additionally, WAR's European publisher GOA announced that the price of the game is to be cut in Europe. The Standard Edition will be available for a recommended price of GBP 19.99 / EUR 29.99 from retailers or as a digital download soon (the date will vary by country).
