Seven days with no service, leaked personal information, compromised credit card details – Sony certainly has a lot of unhappy customers to contend with in the wake of the ongoing PlayStation Network security breach.
A new FAQ posted by the platform holder has addressed those who might be looking for a refund of any associated subscription fees or for any purchased content.
"When the full services are restored and the length of the outage is known, we will assess the correct course of action," it reads.
The FAQ also offers some explanation as to why it has taken so long to get the service back up and running.
"We are taking the investigation seriously. We decided to keep the service down to allow us to conduct a thorough investigation and verify smooth operation of our network services."
