Wadjet Eye reveals post-apocalyptic adventure Shardlight

Blackwell and The Shivah dev's latest is due next spring.

Blackwell series developer and Gemini Rue, Primordia and Resonance publisher Wadjet Eye Games has revealed its next sci-fi point-and-click adventure Shardlight.

Set in a nuclear apocalypse ravaged by disease and suffering a dearth of food and water, you play as a sick woman named Amy set on finding a cure. Meanwhile, a mysterious oligarchy lords over the land offering vaccines to the rich while the rest wither away from hunger and disease.

While most games under Wadjet Eyes label are only published by the niche company, Shardlight is actually developed by it. The last game to come from Wadjet Eye internally was Blackwell Epiphany in 2014, though the studio also release an updated version of its debut effort, The Shivah, in 2013 as the "Kosher Edition."
