Plus, PC pre-orders get Darksiders free.

Forthcoming shooter Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine is getting a special collector's edition, publisher THQ has announced

The box set includes the game, a 10-inch replica Purity Seal, a hardback art book, 25 character information cards and a soundtrack CD.

All that tat doesn't come cheap though – you can expect to pay £79.99 from selected online retailers.

THQ also announced a number of pre-order deals for those willing to open their wallets early:

  • The Elite Armour Pack, only available at GAME and Gamestation, includes the Space Wolves, Black Templar, Iron Warriors and Emperor's Children chapter armour skins.
  • The Golden Relic Chainsword, the primary close combat weapon for Space Marines, is available at Play.com, Zavvi and Sendit.com.
  • The Golden Relic Bolter, a ranged combat weapon, is available at Blockbuster.
  • PC gamers can celebrate their love of the Dawn of War series by donning themselves in the iconic red and bone coloured armour of the Blood Ravens Chapter as well as receiving a FREE copy of Darksiders on PC when they pre-order the PC game through Steam.
  • Finally, PC gamers who choose to buy a digital copy of Space Marine through select digital retailers will be offered a FREE copy of Darksiders on PC.

The Relic-developed title is due out on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 this September. Have a read of our recent hands-on preview for more on what's coming your way.
