W40K Space Marine heading to PC
In addition to consoles next year.THQ has announced that its upcoming third-person shooter based on the Warhammer 40,000 universe, Space Marine, will be released on PC in addition to PS3 and Xbox 360.
Developed by Relic Entertainment, Space Marine is now due out in "early 2011" on those formats and puts players in the space boots of a Space Marine on an Imperial Forge World that is being invaded by Orks.
In a statement marking the announcement, Relic general manager Jonathan Dowdeswell paid tribute to the "loyal PC audience" and said they mattered a lot to the girls and boys at the developer.
