Uncharted 3 reveal looks set for Dec

Sony teases exclusive PlayStation 3 game.

Sony plans to unveil a PlayStation 3 exclusive the day after the Spike Videogame Awards - and word on the street is it's Uncharted 3.

Speculation was sparked by an invitation to a Sony event scheduled for the day after the VGAs – 12th December.

The heavily rumoured Uncharted 3 will have its video debut at the VGAs, according to Kotaku.

Uncharted 3 is one of the worst kept secrets in gaming.

In January Nolan North, the voice of Uncharted protagonist Nathan Drake, hinted that production on the game would begin this year.

And in September last year Naughty Dog creative director Amy Hennig expressed her belief that the Uncharted series had the potential to run and run, long past Uncharted 2: Among Thieves.

"Our expectation with Uncharted is that it can be an ongoing franchise as long as people want more of it," she said.

"[Drake's] going to have lots of adventures, thank god."

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune was released at the end of 2007 and took home 9/10 on Eurogamer.

Among Thieves - released on 16th October – went one better.
