Ubisoft considering core IP Kinect titles
Motion-controlled Assassin's Creed anyone?Ubisoft is considering Kinect tie-ins for all of its core IPs, according to sales chief Geoffroy Sardin.
In an interview with MCV, Sardin confirmed that the French publisher had a number of unannounced Kinect titles in the works, some of which could involve its big AAA franchises like Assassin's Creed, Splinter Cell and Prince of Persia.
“We will be bringing some of the industry’s most innovative offerings to Kinect soon,” he promised.
“I think we can propose Kinect versions of all the brands that we’ve got, but it is down to the production team. I can’t announce anything, but we will have something for everyone, that I can assure you.”
Ubisoft's impending Kinect slate consists of Michael Jackson: The Experience, out 15th April, and Child of Eden from Rez creator Tetsuya Mizuguchi, which is due before the end of the year.
