Ubi boss describes new Assassin's episode

Ezio takes on Templars in Rome, plus MP.

Ubisoft boss Yves Guillemot has said that the Assassin's Creed episode mentioned last month picks up after ACII and takes place in Rome.

Speaking in a conference call to mark the publisher's latest financials, Guillemot said it sees the return of Ezio Auditore. "But this time, he will strike directly at the heart of the Templar Order in Rome," he said (thanks GameSpot).

"In addition to this full new adventure, players will be able to challenge their friends in a very innovative assassination multiplayer."

Ubisoft has previously said to expect the new Assassin's Creed instalment - which is not Assassin's Creed III - before the end of March 2011. ACII has now sold eight million units, the publisher added this week.
