Trio for XBLA this Wednesday

Greed Corp.! Lazy Raiders! Fret Nice!

This Wednesday we're being treated to three new games on Xbox Live Arcade. They are Greed Corp., Lazy Raiders and Fret Nice.

Xbox Live community manager Graeme Boyd Tweeted confirmation this afternoon, but mentioned no prices for any of the games.

He didn't give details either. Unfortunately that means I've had to do some research.

Greed Corp. - a turn-based strategy by W!Games - explores what industrial revolutions do to environments. Each tall, standing hexagonal piece of a map will disintegrate and fall apart if mined too vigorously for resources. Thus, how you manage your resources will dictate your level of success. The Greed Corp. website has pictures.

Fret Nice is an intriguing musical platformer that uses the Guitar Hero or Rock Band guitars as controllers. Nail riffs to trigger combos and pull off power chords to send out stunning attacks. Presentation is akin to LittleBigPlanet. Pictures on the Fret Nice website.

Lazy Raiders is an action puzzler with Xbox Live Avatar integration. Here you must tilt and flip levels in order to move a 'lazy' character through them. There are three different settings - Seven Cities of Gold, Arctic Caves, Wild West - and apparently over 11 hours of gameplay. There are pictures on the Lazy Raiders website.
