Trine 2 release date delay

Now out late summer.

Downloadable puzzle platformer Trine 2 launches "late summer", publisher Atlus has said.

The PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360 game was due out in the spring.

To compensate, developer Frozenbyte released a new trailer. Check it out below.

Unlike the 2009 original, Trine 2 will release for PC, PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade.

The original game saw players take control of three characters - a thief, a knight and a wizard - each with their own special abilities that came in handy for solving puzzles.

The sequel promises online and offline co-operative play.
