Trenched delayed in Europe

"Challenges with distribution" blamed.

Double Fine downloadable game Trenched has been delayed in Europe.

It was due out on Xbox Live Arcade today.

A Microsoft spokesperson told Eurogamer: "Distribution of Trenched in select European regions will be slightly delayed. We're working to resolve the matter as soon as possible."

Xbox UK's Daniel Maher said on Twitter: "Official line on Trenched's delay is, 'Unexpected challenges with distribution in some European regions.' Shouldn't take long!"

Trenched is Double Fine's take on the tower defense genre.

Priced at 1200 Points, the game sees you attempting to fight off an invading alien army using giant mechs.
