This what the Warhammer 40k: Space Wolf game looks like

F2P turn-based collectable card strategy game.

Need.

It seems there are as many Warhammer 40k video games as there are worlds huddled within the Imperium of Man. Here's the latest: Warhammer 40k: Space Wolf.

The ferocious Space Wolves, as every Warhammer 40k fan knows, is a chapter of the Space Marines famous for their grey armour and wolf skin accessories. Not exactly politically correct, but when it's cold, it's cold.

They're not the most famous of Space Marine chapters - video games have favoured the Blood Ravens and the Ultramarines - but now, the Space Wolves get their time in the spotlight. For Fenris!

Warhammer 40k: Space Wolf is a fusion of turn-based tactical combat and collectable cards, and will be free-to-play, developer HeroCraft announced today. It's due out in the second quarter of 2014 for iOS, Android, PC and "other platforms".

The video, below, gives us a glimpse of the gameplay. It shows off the Wolf Scout, who uses a sniper rifle, the Grey Hunter, who uses a bolter, and the Wolf Guard, who carries a hammer and shield. It looks like equipment, such as flamers and jump packs, come in the form of cards and can be upgraded.
