This week's Pokémon Go Limited Research rewards explained
A great way to evolve a Galarian Slowpoke!
The current Limited Research in Pokémon Go is a make-up event for the issues players had evolving Galarian Slowpoke into Galarian Slowking at the beginning of the 2021 Halloween event.
If you're missing a Galarian form from the Slowpoke evolution line - be it Galarian Slowbro or Galarian Slowking - this research is the perfect opportunity to add this variant to your Pokédex!

'Limited Research' quest tasks in Pokémon Go
The Limited Research quest currently running in Pokémon Go is a make-up event for the evolutions issues Galarian Slowpoke had at the beginning of the 2021 Halloween event.
Since this is a timed research quest, you only have until Wednesday, 27th October to complete this quest. Thankfully, it's a very easy quest with only one stage, so, as long as you play Pokémon Go before this date, you'll quickly complete it!
Below you can find all of the quest tasks and rewards for the Limited Research, so be ready for spoilers:
'Limited Research' Step 1 of 1
- Catch 1 Pokémon - 10 Poké Balls
- Catch 3 Pokémon - 50 Slowpoke candy
- Catch 5 Pokémon - 1 Incense
Rewards: 1000 XP, 1000 Stardust and a Galarian Slowpoke encounter
As mentioned above, this is a make-up for the issues players had evolving Galarian Slowpoke into Galarian Slowking at the beginning of the 2021 Halloween event. These issues were resolved on Saturday, 16th October, so you now can safely evolve Galarian Slowpoke into either Galairan Slowbro or Galarian Slowking.
