The Witcher 3 - Velen: every side quest in the Spitfire Bluffs and The Mire regions

How to find every side quest in the Spitfire Bluffs and The Mire regions of Velen in The Witcher 3, and what you need to do to complete them.

You'll find plenty of Secondary Quests to tuck into as you roam the Spitfire Bluffs and The Mire sections of Velen. Here's our breakdown of all the significant bonus content you can get stuck into if you fancy doing a little light exploring.

A Dog's Life

Take the road to the north-west of Drudge until you see a shrine where wolves are fighting a dog. Use your steel sword to kill the wolves, then take the key from the dog's collar. Head south-east towards Drudge, then kill the bandits, making sure the dog doesn't die during the fight.

Go inside the house and interact with the floorboards. Take all of the loot that's stashed there, and don't forget to open the chest using the key you took off the dog.

A Greedy God

South of Wastrel Manor you'll find a couple of peasants having trouble with their "god". Once you've spoken to the altar, use your Witcher Senses to sniff out some clues: a crack in the wall to the right of the altar, and some rancid wine to the left.

Follow the scent trail from the wine and use the eye to reveal the entrance. Speak to the Allgod, and either kill him, threaten him, or leave him to it.

Highwayman's Cache

Head east from the Boatmaker's Hut near Crow's Perch and look for a bridge that heads towards a bandit's camp. Approach the bandits guarding the path, and either kill them, show them your medallion, or just murder them all.

Before leaving, use your Witcher Senses near the fire at the bridge, and follow the trail to find a chest with some nice loot in it.

Lynch Mob

In the Western section of this region, at Hangman's Alley crossroads, you'll find a load of peasants who have captured a guard. Try to convince them to show mercy, then either kill them all and talk to the soldier, or just leave the soldier to whatever's coming his way.

Our Witcher 3 walkthrough and guide can help you with the main story, including the Wandering in the Dark and Family Matters missions, and eventually, one of several Witcher 3 endings. Elsewhere, learn about the best Witcher 3 builds, the best Witcher 3 mods, how to make money in Witcher 3, find Places of Power locations, and learn how to do Witcher 3 crafting and Witcher 3 Alchemy And when you're done with all those - we can help you through expansions with our Hearts of Stone walkthrough and Blood and Wine walkthrough.

Love's Cruel Snares

Head to the north-east of Condule and look for a crying girl. Talk to her and agree to find her fiance. Enter the south-east forest, then use your Witcher Senses to find the trail. Follow the trail and the sound of the dogs to reach the - rather sorry-looking - fiance. Kill the beasts, look over the body, then deliver the bad news.
