A guide to every one of the expansion's side-quests.

This page covers Mutual of Beauclair's Wild Kingdom, A Knight's Tales, Vintner's Contract, Master Master Master Master and Great Balls of Granite!. If you're looking for more assistance, our Witcher 3 Blood and Wine walkthrough can help.

Mutual of Beauclair's Wild Kingdom

Found on the noticeboard at the Cockatrice Inn.

Search the area for clues, and then talk to Count Borhis. He's not very cooperative, so use your Witcher Sense to examine the area for more clues - examine the burn marks on the debris and the broken barrels, then follow the scent trail. It'll briefly turn into a trail of blood before returning to a scent, and eventually you'll reach its empty nest. After a brief cutscene you'll have to make a quick decision whether to kill it or leave it in peace - it's a tough fight and letting it live nets you a few hundred extra crowns...

We made etoile blanche from The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine

A Knight's Tales

Just west of Castel Ravello vineyard three roads meet at a triangular junction. Take the northernmost exit, and in the woods just off to the right after the path bends left you'll come across a man talking to a tree. Have a chat with him to unlock this quest, then examine the tree, the bloodstain beneath it, and the chopped tree off to the side. Talk to the woodcutter again, read the book he gives you, and then head for the top of Lynx Crag. Enter the hut, examine the items on the table and the pot on the fire, then examine the animal skin on the wall. Take a closer look at the items behind it and then talk to the witch that makes a sudden appearance.

There are several ways of proceeding from here but we took the polite path: Ask nicely, beseech her, and then agree to her terms. Once the deal is made head into the cave, fight off the inhabitants, and then climb onto the ledge on the right side of the cavern to find Gareth's remains. Take the bone and return to the tree to talk to the woodcutter again, then light the fires when prompted.

Vintner's Contract: Chucote Cove

Unlocked by talking to the merchant in the small camp south of the western corner of Castel Ravello.

Pop a spot of Arachnid oil on your sword and make your way around the circular cave loop dealing with the beasts inside, then head out and talk to the merchant again to collect your reward.

Our Witcher 3 walkthrough and guide can help you with the main story, including the Wandering in the Dark and Family Matters missions, and eventually, one of several Witcher 3 endings. Elsewhere, learn about the best Witcher 3 builds, the best Witcher 3 mods, how to make money in Witcher 3, find Places of Power locations, and learn how to do Witcher 3 crafting and Witcher 3 Alchemy And when you're done with all those - we can help you through expansions with our Hearts of Stone walkthrough and Blood and Wine walkthrough.

Goodness, Gracious, Great Balls of Granite!

Talk to the curator outside the gallery in the centre of Beauclair.

Use Witcher Sense to examine the statue and the dried blood stain on the floor next to it, and then look at the torn fabric on the fence at the top of the stairs. Follow the scent trail to a door and enter the house, and when a fourth person enters use Axii to get rid of him (or do it the old fashioned way), and then decide what to do with the randy old man.

Master Master Master Master

Unlocked with the Witcher gear Treasure Hunts.

Collect all the diagrams of a single school to complete this.
