The Walking Dead next-gen retail release dated for October

The Wolf Among Us to follow in November.

Telltale has confirmed on Twitter that both seasons of The Walking Dead will be hitting retail on PS4 and Xbox One in October.

Additionally, Season Two will arrive in retail form on PS3, Xbox 360 and Vita. Season One already did just that last year.

Telltale also revealed that The Wolf Among Us is coming to retail in November on PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360.

What isn't clear is whether these next-gen versions are getting a "remastered" treatment, or are just straight ports. We're also not sure if you'll be able to transfer data from one generation of consoles to the next in this instance. We've requested answers from Tellltale and will update should we find out more.
