The next Company of Heroes 2 expansion stars the British

Huzzah!

Relic's World War 2 real-time strategy game Company of Heroes 2 will get a new standalone expansion called The British Forces. It's out 3rd September 2015.

The British Forces costs £9.99, but there's 20 per cent off for anyone on Steam who owns any product from the Company of Heroes franchise.

The British Forces includes 15 new units, six new commanders with unique abilities and eight new multiplayer maps.

Here's the official blurb:

Units include the Churchill Crocodile flamethrower tank and the RAF glider. Expect regional British accents, too, for the soldiers. "An international cast of actors from England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales and New-Zealand bring the units to life, with accents ranging from the posh elite to the working class," Relic said.

"The writing of the units' audio cues was also given special attention in order to ensure the various regional differences - and rivalries - among the British subjects stand out." Sounds like TOP BANTER INCOMING.

Meanwhile, alongside The British Forces release, every Company of Heroes 2 game will get a design upgrade that improves the balance of all five factions, as well as animation and visual improvements to most infantry units in the game.
