How to enter the Copy Center in the library

The initial aim of the Library is to get through the locked door where you can find a bed beyond.

To proceed, go to the Copy Centre in the corner, smash the window next to the door and climb through.

Grab the crafting components here then through the door, where Ellie will automatically pick up the Eugine's Firefly Pendant Artefact on the way.

In the next kids room, look at the right shelves at the giraffe for a new Journal Entry.

Go to the corner store room (it's ahead and left of where you enter) to find the Laurent Foucault, CEO Spark Trading Card.

Head through to the far side of the room, and check the desk opposite the bed for the Photo of Eugene and Tommy Artefact, and some crafting components in the drawer.

Now check the drawer beside the bed for the Eugene's Ultimatum Artefact.

Head through the door, and go left down the corridor to find a generator.

Power it up by pressing Triangle when the meter resumes to the starting point, and investigate the workbench at the end to modify your weapons.

If you're not sure what to upgrade right now, then wait until you've used your weapons more - up until now we've mostly had stealth sections after all, and you'll want a better feel of what could be improved first.

Follow Dana into the other room to spot something beneath the floorboards.

How to enter the library basement

To find the Library basement, head back through the kid's room and move the bookcase at the far end, where the light is peeking through.

Proceed down the stairs.

The basement, it turns out, is a weed farm.

There are a few points of interest around the outside - some video tapes and a gas mask included - so when ready, investigate the jar on the table in the middle of the room.

What follows is a cutscene, and another change of character, back to Abby for The Horde.
