How to escape Eastbrook Elementary in The Last of Us 2

After the cutscene where you must press the button prompts to free yourself - which gives you the Leah's Note Artefact and Leah's Photograph Artefact - take down the attackers on the other side of the room with your guns.

As suggested by Dina, flank them, going left through the door, to get in a couple of easy shots.

Search the bodies for ammo, then follow Dina.

You can stealth your way through the classrooms to the side, followed by an open grass-filled area. Remember, you don't have to fight if you don't want to.

Our recommendation is to go prone and crawl through the grass to the end wide room, grab the supplies from the desks, then back to the other side of the grass area.

To proceed, you can climb onto the roof to the side via the crate.

Work your way round the outside edge for more enemies to appear - you have to face them head on.

Go right and up the next section of the roof, and expect more enemies to appear.

Kill as many as you need to - don't forget to grab the ammo from their bodies - then go through the door at the end.

There are plenty of supplies here. There's also the Issac's Mandate Artefact at the far end table.

When ready to move on, follow Dina round, who suggests leaving out of the vent.

Work your way across the roof and leap to the block of flats opposite.

There are plenty of crafting supplies and supplements here to find, so take your time.

You can vault over the bed in the corner of the first room to find more supplies, as well as a Cardio Trading Card in the drawers next to the bed.

When you're ready to continue, open the ajar door in the second flat.

Once the cutscene is over, jumping off the roof to the ground level starts the Capitol Hill chapter.
