The Eurogamer Podcast #23: Independent by Design

Stace is the place.

Hello! Chris Donlan here, just dropping in to tell you that Chris Bratt and I have committed another podcast, and we absolutely refuse to hand ourselves over to the police.

This week, we're joined by a special guest: Stace Harman is a Eurogamer favourite - he writes brilliantly about strategy games, and he's also luminously handsome, in the manner of a mysterious lumberjack or a silent era movie star. He's on the podcast because he's just co-authored a book about games with his friend John Robertson. Independent by Design is a book about the realities of indie development, and it's out now.

Alongside chatting about Stace's book, we also have time to talk about a few games. Most importantly, we discuss Eugene Jarvis' collaboration with Housemarque, Nex Machina, and I guess there's also a few minutes free to discuss The Last Guardian, which is really pretty good. No time for questions this week, but we do have an exciting pitch for some DLC for Horse Attack!

Enjoy and, as ever, please, please forgive us.

Rather listen on iTunes, would you? Go on then.
