The Elder Scrolls: Blades, the mobile game, is coming to Switch

With cross-play and cross-progression.

The Elder Scrolls: Blades, the slightly naff mobile interpretation of the RPG series, is coming to Nintendo Switch this autumn.

It's no great surprise - Bethesda announced last E3 it wanted the game on as many platforms as humanly possible.

Encouragingly, Blades will support cross-play and cross-progression so if you download the game on Android or iOS today, you can carry on your adventure on Switch and vice versa. Blades on Switch will also be free, as it is on mobile - presumably with the same micro-transactions.

Bethesda announced a chunky content patch for Blades on mobile, too, and it's rolling out tonight US time so later this morning UK time.
