Tesco pulls 35-quid X360 offer
Bit of an error.
Tesco has blamed an admin error for an online offer that bundled the Xbox 360, two games and an extra controller for just GBP 34.99 (EUR 50), GamesIndustry.biz reports.
The offer was available last Thursday via the supermarket's website, but was quickly pulled following an influx of orders, several of which might have been from us.
"Unfortunately, there was an error in the product details at the time that you placed your order, the Wireless Entertainment Pack does not include an Xbox 360," said an email to customers waiting on their order.
"As a result we have had to cancel your order. We apologise for this error," said the retailer.
