SWTOR's advanced Jedi classes revealed
Tank and damage roles for space Knights.
BioWare has revealed the two Advanced Class specialisation that will be available to Jedi Knights in its MMO, Star Wars: The Old Republic.
Found at the Jedi Knight's page on the official Old Republic website, the two sepcialisation are Guardian and Sentinel.
The Guardian seems to be a tank class - "a wall between the good people of the Republic and their enemies" - capable of "smooth movement even in heavy armour" and "inspiring allies to amazing feats".
The Sentinel is a dual-lightsaber-wielding damage-dealer who can "see holes in the enemy defense, potential flaws in their own technique and how best to plan for both".
The Jedi Knight's specialisation set-up therefore mirrors that of its opposite number the Sith Warrior, whose Juggernaut tank and Marauder damage-dealer were the first Advanced Classes to be revealed.
The Old Republic is due for release on PC in spring 2011.
