Super Mario Odyssey Purple Ring locations - how to find Purple Wheel

  • Kingdom: Cascade Kingdom
  • Total Coins: 50

The Regional Coins in the Cascade Kingdom are wheel-like rings, and easy to spot against the lush green and browns of this region. However, there's a lot of elevation here, making it very difficult to identify groups of them from the ground. To make life easier, head behind the Odyssey and use the Binoculars to get a bird's eye view of the entire outside area.

From here, you'll be able to see groups of coins hidden on ledges and on cliffs that you'd otherwise miss. Don't forget to zoom in if you can't quite make them out. To begin, from the Odyssey, turn to the right and collect some coins by the cliff edge (they're behind some pale yellow rocks).

A little further on, look for a low platform beside the white hat marker. Drop down to bag yourself three more coins. Up the ramp, look to the right. There should be three more coins hidden on a lower level. Drop down, collect them, then use the white hat markers to create cloud platforms to reach back where you were.

Want to find three really easy to miss coins? Jump into the water to the left of the Crazy Cap shop, swim through the waterfall and you'll find a magic painting leading to Bowser's Kingdom and three coins waiting in front of it. There are three more in the water here, hidden in an alcove beneath the platform with the Power Moon.

You can find a stash of four more coins on the cliff with the Top of the Big Stump checkpoint. Just head to the side with the Power Moon, then look over the edge. Drop down and this quarter of coins are yours.

Three more coins can be found sneakily hiding behind some rocks next to the large pole (just left of the Chain Chomp used to reach the Top of the Big Stump Warp Pipe. Run up the hill here and ascend the rock towers to your right. On the top pillar you'll find three more coins for your collection. A well-timed back flip will get you up there.

At the very bottom of the raised platform with the sleeping T-Rex, look for an alcove with three coins hidden inside. These are very easy to miss! From where the T-Rex is sleeping jump and run towards the cliff (with the Chain Chomps now to your right). To the edge of the cliff is a really easy to miss ledge and walkway.

Follow it around and you'll find a white hat marker. Jump across and you'll find a Warp Pipe, two more white hat markers and three additional coins. Throw Cappy at them to collect them as they are over a gap.

Past the Stone Bridge checkpoint, ascend the stone pillars to your left to reach three more coins at the top. At the same checkpoint, turn right before crossing the bridge, climb the stones and use the white hat markers to reach the three coins.

Three more coins can be found to the left of the big 8-bit section on the wall (while facing it). There's also three more behind the waterfall here. Look for the white hat markers on either side. Ascend the 8-bit section, pass the Chain Chomps and you'll find the last three coins on some floating islands behind where you fought the Mother Broodal boss.
