Where to find the main set of Lake Kingdom Power Moons.

Lake Kingdom Power Moons are what you'll find here, where we detail each Power Moon and its location in the region with accompanying screens for extra clarity.

This is where to find Lake Kingdom Moons then, but for other regions you can cycle back to our Power Moon locations guide hub, or our main Super Mario Odyssey guide and walkthrough hub for much more.

On this page:

9. Lake Gardening: Spiky Passage Seed

This one's a little annoying. In the bottom of the spiky passage (where you drop after unzipping a hole near the Odyssey), look for a seed by the bubbles. Swim to the bubble dome, turn left at the Water Plaza Entrance checkpoint and throw the seed in the pot. Wait a while, and the seed will grow.

10. Lake Kingdom Timer Challenge 1

To the right of the bubble building (while facing it in the water), look for a hole in the wall with a hat door. Swim through to enter a secret area. Use Cappy to unzip the wall in front of you, then use the same method to unfold platforms across this area. Avoid the Goombas, then run across the far platform to grab the key. Unzip the whole platform to dismiss all the Goombas on this platform, then run back to the start to collect your Moon.

23. Super-Secret Zipper

After unzipping the 'T' shaped section of the Unzip the Chasm section, stand in the middle of the 'T' and look over towards an inaccessible platform. Throw Cappy to reveal a bridge, unzip the section above, then unzip the square that's revealed to be led to another Moon.

26. Secret Path to Lake Lamode

To find this secret entrance, complete the story objectives in the Seaside Kingdom, use of the water spouts to reach the giant goblet, drop to the bottom and enter the painting at the bottom. The Moon is inside a chest.

27. Found with Lake Kingdom Art

The art for this Moon is located on the stairs near the Odyssey. You'll need to complete the story objectives in the Lake Kingdom to reveal these stairs. The image shows the bones outside the Odyssey in the Cascade Kingdom. Ground Pound the spot shown and grab a Moon.

28. Taxi Flying Through Lake Lamode

Use the Binoculars near the Odyssey, look up at the moon and focus on the taxi being suspended by a top hat ship. The Moon will appear and land on top of the staircase in front of you.

29. That Trendy "Pirate" Look

Buy the Pirate Hat and Pirate Outfit from the yellow Crazy Cap counter (on any kingdom) to dazzle the middle lady into handing over a Moon.

31. That Old West Style

Buy and wear the Cowboy Hat and Cowboy Outfit from the purple counter at the Sand Kingdom Crazy Cap shop. Return to the right-hand lady to get your Moon.

32. Lake Kingdom Regular Cup

Beat this race to win the Moon. Big tip here is to avoid chasing bubbles, possess one of the Cheep Cheeps in the spiky corridor and swim across the lake faster. You should be ahead of your fellow racers enough to win the race.

33. Peach in the Lake Kingdom

You can only get this Moon after completing the main story. Speak to Peach on the platform where you fought the boss to gain another Moon.

Other Lake Kingdom Power Moons you can unlock

As well as the above Moons that appear when you clear a Kingdom for the first time, there is yet another set that you can collect later in the game. Be warned the following contains some light spoilers.

When exploring each Kingdom previously, you may have noticed a giant, grey block that seemingly has no purpose. It's this object you must find once you have completed the game that'll give you even more things to do.

The above video by Nintendo Life explains this in more detail, but in short - complete the game, find the block in any given Kingdom, and more Moons will be available for you to find.

We won't detail these extra Moons here, but the number of these extra challenges available in each Kingdom varies - just like the amount of Moons you could find to begin with. Good luck!
