Street Fighter 5 alternative costumes give Ryu a lovely beard

Capcom's unveiled a few alternative costumes for fighting game Street Fighter 5 - and one of them gives Ryu a beard.

Ryu's alternative costume sees the veteran Street Fighter shirtless and wearing a lovely-looking beard. This version has already been dubbed "Hot Ryu" by The Internet, and it's easy to see why. Here's Capcom's official blurb:

"Strong and grizzly, Ryu emerges from a long period of training ready for the next opponent!"

What Hot Ryu doesn't want you to know is he has not been training in a cave for a month. Rather, he's jumping on the beard bandwagon and has gone full hipster having read a magazine in a Shoreditch barber. Well, Ryu, beards won't be on-trend for much longer. The word around TopMan's inner circle is Hercule Poirot's moustache is the next big thing in hot facial hair.

Capcom's said these alternative costumes are pre-order bonuses in the US tied to retailers, and they will surely be pre-order bonuses in the UK, too. No doubt they'll be sold separately at some point, though.
