South Park: The Stick of Truth is out next week on Switch

Another one to add to your cart, man.

Ubisoft has announced that South Park: The Stick of Truth is heading to Switch next week, on September 25th.

South Park: The Stick of Truth initially released on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC in 2014, and was the work of RPG stalwart Obsidian Entertainment. Not only does it do a wonderful job of capturing the TV show's bawdy satire (series creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone were heavily involved during production), it builds those familiar elements into a satisfyingly solid, genuinely entertaining turn-based RPG. It even secured a Eurogamer Recommended award at the time.

Somewhat unconventionally, South Park: The Stick of Truth arrives on Switch several months after its slightly less satisfying superhero-themed sequel, South Park: The Fractured But Whole - which launched on Nintendo's platform in April this year. Ubisoft says The Stick of Truth will only be available as a digital download on Switch, and will cost $29.99 USD (around £22).
