Shadowrun Returns Kickstarter ends in huge success

2D turn-based single-player game funded in abundance.

Another Kickstarter success: Shadowrun Returns has raised $1,895,772 (including PayPal) - more than quadruple its initial $400,000 goal.

"A-freaking-mazing! Wowsers! Bibbidy-bobbidy-boo!" exclaimed developer Harebrained Studios. "We are so happy to be associated with such a wonderful community."

Shadowrun returns will be a 2D, turn-based single-player game for PC, Mac, iPad and Android tablets. It'll be ported to Linux afterwards.

Jordan Weisman, creator of the long-running cyberpunk Shadowrun IP, is in charge of the project.
