Rollercoaster Tycoon 3D official

Out next year on Nintendo 3DS.

Atari has popped its official stamp on Rollercoaster Tycoon 3D.

The 2012, n-Space developed game features new modes, including Coaster Story, which blends tutorials and park challenges into a "cohesive and entertaining narrative".

Also included is Coaster Creation, which utilises the 3DS touchscreen, and Park Sandbox, an open-ended option that recreates the classic Rollercoaster Tycoon gameplay. You can share your park creations through the 3DS network capabilities.

"RollerCoaster Tycoon 3D marks the return of one of the most popular game franchises and delivers an innovative, robust and unrestricted theme park simulator to the next generation of Tycoon fans," said Atari boss Jim Wilson.

The game's debut trailer is below.
