Retro City Rampage misses European PSN release date

Assassin's Creed 3, Need for Speed: Most Wanted downloadable this week.

Downloadable 8-bit homage Retro City Rampage has missed its promised European release window.

It was due to launch in October - but Sony's just-published list of new European PlayStation store content makes no mention of it. It arrived fine in the US for PlayStation 3 and Vita on 8th October.

Assassin's Creed 3 will be available to download today for £49.99, while Need for Speed: Most Wanted will launch alongside its retail brother on Friday. It'll cost £59.99.

Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation on PlayStation Vita is also out today. That costs £39.99. A handheld version of Need for Speed will be available on Friday for the same price.

Resident Evil 6 players can now download three extra maps previously only available as pre-order bonuses. High Seas Fortress, Rail Yard and The Catacombs each cost 79 pence to unlock.

There's still no release date for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
