Red Faction, Homefront dates narrowed

Brian Farrell adds detail ahead of E3.

THQ boss Brian Farrell has said new Red Faction and Homefront games will be released in the second-half of financial 2011 - sometime between October 2010 and the end of March 2011.

He's said similar things before, although this time he had a couple of game details to share.

Red Faction will have a "new storyline". "That was one of the weaker points [of Guerrilla]," admitted Farrell. Production values, he added, have been pumped in terms of story and environment this time around. "[It's got] a much more appealing game universe, and you get the destruction to go with it."

Homefront will also focus on story, as well as "groundbreaking multiplayer".

Both games will be unveiled properly at E3.
