R-Type III heads US VC update

Xevious and Moto Roader follow.

Those of you who watch an odd version of football, or play rounders-on-steroids, will be pleased to hear of three new Virtual Console games now available for download. In America. That was what I was getting at.

The Super Nintendo's side-scrolling shooter R-Type III: The Third Lightning heads the bill this week, and was the first game of the series to introduce new Forces; adding Shadow and Cyclone to the existing Round Force.

Following closely is futuristic racing game Moto Roader for the TurboGrafx-16, which allows five players to battle against each other in upgradeable vehicles, using either Wii or Cube controllers.

In the rear is scrolling-shooter Xevious (NES), which was released here last week.

Remember, remember: Super Nintendo titles are 800 Points, NES 500, and TurboGrafx-16 600.

And remember this too: Eurogamers can expect 36 Virtual Console titles in Q1, including Ocarina of Time, Mario Kart 64 and Super Mario World.
