Q*bert heading to PS3 Store

Next Thursday.

Sony's bringing Q*bert back, for some reason, with a downloadable PlayStation 3 version of the '80s arcade game due to hit the PS3 Store next Thursday.

Sony Online Entertainment seems to be behind the conversion, promising high definition versions of all the old levels, support for two players, and worldwide online leaderboards.

You can check out a few screenshots this morning, and if you've got a US PlayStation 3 you can pop onto the Store on 22nd February and grab it.

Never played Q*bert? It's quite simple, really - a little chap called Noser hops around a pyramid changing the colour of cubes he stands on, and trying to avoid the evil Coily.

Sony reckons it's "fun for the whole family". We reckon it's US$ 4.99.
