PS3 Lara Croft gets online co-op update

"Huzzah!"

Crystal Dynamics has finally enabled online co-operative play for the PlayStation 3 version of Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light nearly a month after it turned the feature on for the Xbox 360 version.

"PS3 online co-op title update is now live! Huzzah!" reads a Tweet from the developer.

Last month Crystal Dynamics said it would hand the first of five planned DLC packs out for free for 30 days by way of saying sorry for the delay – to Xbox 360 owners.

Add-on All the Trappings "offers a brand new area to conquer and features a combination of puzzle, exploration and combat experiences".

We assume this latest title update makes the free DLC available to download through the PlayStation Network.

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light was an experiment for Crystal Dynamics. A small team made a cooperative adventure (playable by two people locally since launch) as a spin-off to the pillar Tomb Raider series. The gamble paid off in abundance. Eurogamer awarded it a massive 9/10.
