PS3 firmware update soon

Fixes a bug. Woo.

Sony says that another minor firmware update for PlayStation 3 is in the offing.

Speaking on the official US blog, PSN operations director Eric Lempel said it would fix "the network disconnect issue that some of you have experienced as a result of downloading firmware 1.92".

Which is good news, unless of course you get disconnected while trying to download it.

A new firmware update for PSP (3.71) is also in the offing despite 3.70 pitching up just yesterday. Lempel says it "adds many features that readers of this blog have requested", referring to things like theme support.
