If they were a football team this would be the bit where the chairman publicly insists that the manager has the full backing of the board

@AgentDaleCooper I think that is a great idea. If you buy on launch day, your warranty is up by the time anything good is starting to come out, and you are the ones who ahve to put up with all bugs and problems that come with a new launch.

No BF4 or COD Ghosts that I could see on the list. Not that that is a bad thing! But surely they are 2 of the biggest releases this year.

I loved it, I lost hours roaming the countryside and coming across random enclaves and caves etc. Brilliant

Microsoft kills game ownership and expects us to smile

Sony should be jumping on this as a massive selling point for the PS4.

Unfortunately I think they are waiting until everyone has expended most of their anger on MS, before they announce thier policy is pretty much the same to a reponse of defeated acceptance.

I never really used them but this surely isn't going to help sales of the rather pointless Wii slim.

@duerer @Cosmopolitan
'Zero Based Budgeting' and 'Incremental Budgeting'are two different approaches to budgeting

Incremental budgeting looks at the historical spending on a project and uses this as the baseline to decide on budgets going forward. Managers only have to justify the variances from this budget.

Zero Based Budgeting ignores historical data and each project has to be evaluated and all expenditure justified.

TL/DR
Basically Zero Based Budgeting is evaluating the budgets for projects from scratch, rather than using historical data as basis for future budgets

we lost $100 million roughly. It certainly wasn't the end, but it was the point where you started to look at it and think this might not be good for the corporation overall
I lost a fiver, it wasn't good for my day overall!

@GAmbrose Maybe it's just when you get older you have to earn your own money and pay for vital stuff like bills and booze and so become a better judge of value for money.

I know that we all have too many passwords to remember and there is no substitute for common sense but maybe devices should have to have 2 passwords.

One that is used ONLY for financial transactions and one that is used for everything else. That way if a parent ever puts the finacial password in then they will know that this is going to cost them money, then there is no excuse.
